Cathal Young is an experienced Legal Practitioner with specific experience in Litigation, Conveyancing, Probate, Company Law and Information Technology Law. His priority is to obtain solutions first, but of course Litigation is often the only possible solution if compromise cannot be reached. Garrett O'Reilly has an extensive knowledge and passion for the practice of the law .  His Father, T.P. O'Reilly, was a highly regarded lawyer and judge.  Garrett inherited his Father's devotion to the legal profession and also followed in his Father's footsteps by studying law in U.C.D. 

Garrett provides clients with intelligent and practical advice. He has worked in both defence and plaintiff Litigation for a wide and diverse range of clients including Insurance Companies, Loss Adjusters and some of the largest Building Companies in the State as well as private clients.  He has wide experience as a Legal Practitioner and prides himself in providing logical and practical advice. 

Garrett has a depth of knowledge and experience in relation to all types of property transactions from the sale and purchase of houses to the most complex commercial property transaction.  He enjoys specialist expertise in the fields of Commercial and Residential Property, Property Litigation, Judicial Review, Property Contract & Security Law, Planning Law, Commercial Negotiation and Dispute Resolution. 

He has developed considerable experience in the area of Construction Law through representing construction companies in thousands of property transactions. 

Garrett has extensive experience in Insolvency and Corporate Recovery and represents liquidators, receivers and examiners.  He has been involved in high profile examinerships and has developed a particular expertise in assisting both the company itself entering into the examinership process, as well as providing advice to creditors of the company entering into examinership.

Recent transactions include the purchase, mortgage, and sales of Residential and Commercial Property; Residential and Commercial Leasing; Ground Rent Applications; Preparation and Execution of Wills; Preparation and Execution of Enduring Powers of Attorney; Extraction of Grants of Probate & Letters of Administration on the death of the owner of Real Estate or Personal Property and the Distribution of the Estate to the Beneficiaries.

Garrett is the former Chairman of the Central Hearings Committee in the Gaelic Athletics Association (Cuman Lúthchleas Gael) and has served on a number of disciplinary bodies in the Association.  He also proudly represented the senior Cavan football team for many years.

Associate Solicitor

Paula Cullinane, Solicitor, Commissioner for Oaths B.C.L. (U.C.C.), DIP FAM LAW (LAW SOC OF IRL)


Paula Cullinane obtained a Bachelor in Civil Law in University College Cork and subsequently qualified as a solicitor in 2004.  She was entered on the Roll of Solicitors in 2005. Paula is a highly regarded as an accomplished solicitor, she initially trained in Criminal Law under the guidance of the late Terence Lyons. and working in that area of the law before specialising in civil disputes.  She now specialises in the provision of a range of private and commercial client services. 


Paula's specialist areas of Law are Litigation, Employment Law, Personal Injury Law  and ADR remedies.   She has successfully acted on behalf of many clients in high profile cases in the High Court and Circuit Court (including multi-million euro awards on behalf of clients).  She has extensive experience of advising clients across a range of contentious and non-contentious matters with an emphasis on Commercial Litigation, Professional Negligence, Property Related Disputes and Shareholders' Disputes.


On the advisory side, she provides advice to small businesses in the City Centre and for multinational companies, with a particular focus on high level contentious and board-related disputes. 


She has extensive contacts with Counsel and experts in Ireland as well as a wealth of experience in dealing with the Irish Litigation procedure. 


Paula acts also for individuals and corporates who are the subject of inaccurate media coverage which has resulted in harm to the individual or corporates.  She successfully advises and represents our clients in the following areas:
